La Posada/Live Nativity – 2012

The annual Posada Party was held on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 2, for local children. La Posada is a tradition originating in Latin America that dramatizes the search by Joseph and Mary for lodging. The procession began in McGivney Hall and ended in the Edward J. Pryzbyla University Center Food Court for the party. Participating children were welcome to dress in costume for the procession, sing songs, and take part in activities. This was followed by a live nativity on the Pryzbyla lawn. The event was hosted by Campus Ministry, Students on the Mount, and Latin Alliance. (Photos by Ed Pfueller)
